A touch oxidized but not as over the top as the previous bottle. From a vineyard across a path from Batard-Montrachet so good value. Lovely fruit, quite tertiary already. A certain medicinal quality. If you have this, drink up.

I served this in my wine course. Did much better out of taller narrower glass than the typically wider bowl I would use for white Burgundy. Narrower glass helped to emphasize distinct hazelnut that was lost in the wider glass. Also a touch of citrus. Excellent mouth with great structure on the finish, which ends floral and spicy. Believe this wine has lots of potential to age well.

Pale green tinged lemon. Quite a reticent nose, lemony, sherbety limestone. Very intense, concentrated palate with huge volume in the mouth. Very unusual to begin with, dandelion, fennel bulb and aniseed, after a few hours orange blossom and lime rind support what is basically a very mineral wine. Quite searing acidity but balanced by the volume of the wine. Very very long. Quite obviously way too young but very enjoyable right now. You could easily argue a baby Batard.

Ripe, spicy, prefumed. Maybe not too elegant and refined, but amazigly drinkable with food and has very clear classic finish. Great now and another 5-8 years
