Flavours are good, it's just that the wine lacks character. I think, at the end of the day, that its the soft tannins and muted acidity that hold this back. Perhaps a couple of years ago it might have had more presence. Its a decent wine, though I will keep it for midweek drinking, and drink my case a bit faster than I had originally planned. Who knows, the next bottle might be better.
