St. Emilion in the Bay Area. Ripe but restrained for Livermore. Richly plummy, but balanced by a supple acidity and lingering cinnamon spice and bold blackberry on the finish. Very pleasing now, but a cellar candidate for at least a few years of aging.

Mighty fine, makes me long for my old Wente membership to see what else came along.
