Had this alongside the '07 Mt. Veeder and '07 Yountville bottlings. Hands down the favorite amongst 4 tasters. The most Champagne like and complex of all 3 bottles. Autolytic nose, prominent bread, mushy apple, touch of berry, and sharp lemon. Lean in a good way.
When opening all bottles, I guessed the Carneros bottling would be the favorite and I was proven right. I know there are great grapes grown in Mt. Veeder and Yountville but my first thoughts in those regions are not the 3 Champagne grapes.

I have to admit, this was one of the very best bottles of sparkling we've had from Chandon in a number of years. The toast/nutty overtones that came out remind me of some very high-end older champagnes we've tried from Billecart. Sincerely wish we had another bottle or two - and have suggested 2025 on the community drink window (the existing 2014 is clearly in error).

One of the best champagnes I’ve had in recent memory. Super fine bubbles, balanced, nuanced. Wish I had more.

Very subtle bubbles. Still very tasty and elegant.

10 years old and wonderful! Pale gold in color. Tiny bubbles.
The apple is very smooth yet crisp and the toasty bread flavors are coming out.
Totally enjoyed this, caused us to pause after the first sip to say, wow, this is good...and said it serval more times before the bottle was done.
