Found this vintage in my parent's tiny wine refrigerator and thought I would give it a shot to see if it was still viable. The cork was completely intact and held in an amber colored chard that was what I would have expected six or seven years ago, with a faded but basically intact nose of light honey, a tinge of green apple and apricot. The palate was surprisingly balanced with even acidity and more apricot and honey. Nothing special here but way better than I expected for a wine of this level and age.

Nice fruit, a little oak, and a great wine for $10. Paired well with the Asiago, Mozzarella, Parmesan, and basil on our white pizza...but not quite enough to handle the Gorgonzola. Delicious wine on its own too.

Not a bad bottle. Very yellow in color. Hint of vanilla on the nose. Clean but buttery finish (not very oaky)

Nice, crisp taste. Stood up well to a spicy grilled tilapia. Not over oaked, very good quality for the price.
