1.48ha vineyard at around 700m altitude. Ready but youthful, medium to light body, floral, violets and red berry fruit aromas, waves of juicy acid, a patina of fine tannins coat the deliciously long finish, lovely wine with plenty of time ahead

Earthy, floral, dark fruit, crushed stones, spices on the nose. Very pure on the palate, superbly balanced, rather soft and subtle, great mineral streak, vibrant and long. Excellent!

Beautifully shiny in the glass, medium ruby almost going to a light purple at the edges. A very red fruit, floral and mineral nose - attractive. Quite a dense texture, with a high level of dry fine tannins. The acidity is refreshing and the palate is a complexity of flavours ranging from floral, stone mineral to cherry, raspberry, leafy notes. It feels like it will need a long time to integrate. I wouldn't drink these for another few years at least. Let's hope the fragrant palate overcomes the tannins. If drinking now, perhaps a long decant would be worthwhile.

Dried fruits. Lacks the dark, earthy depth of some Bierzos I've preferred recently. Maybe age will benefit. Neutral relative to the price.

Lovely but a bit young. Rose petals, cranberry, cloves, very stemy. Needs food and time.
