  • Bright red fruit, silky tannins, lively acidity. Raspberry coulee, mineral. Really good. Highly aromatic.

  • Ripe, red cranberry and cherry fruit with good freshness, spice, and with little winemaking intervention. Tasted non-blind, I was very impressed. Served blind to Brian, he was even more impressed, going through the different villages in Burgundy that this might be from. In the end, we decided it was more of a deep, and concentrated Cote de Beaune clone, something of a Volnay/Corton hybrid. Found a winner here.

  • -- tasted a couple glasses blind over a couple hours --

Red-fruited aromatics (cranberry), along with a slight leathery note. Leather is repeated on the palate, and I do think it may be light brett, but whatever it is it's not strong enough to be a detractor for me. 13.2% alc. not noticeable. Presents with a Gevrey personality, but wrapped in a burly Chambolle or a cool Corton package. Very very nice. I will be looking to buy some of this.
