Last bottle and one of the best. This has added a touch of richness and oxidization but it is to the benefit of this wine as it was always very lean. Still has the hay, chamomile and pear flavors. It needs some air to shine. Great drinking spot right now.

2019 Visit to North Canterbury, NZ: Small pour. Served double blind. Golden colour. Attractive nose of cinnamon and other baking spices, lemon citrus, minerals and yellow apple. The mouth of a rich Blanc de Blanc. Decent cut and acidity. However, a little more oxidative on palate than I would have liked.

Nice showing. The hay notes apparent and fine, with pear and floral. Well balanced, a bit of roundness showing finally. This is in a great place now.

Sommelier Scholarship Fund Tasting (Popina - Brooklyn NY): Walk around tasting. Rich enough with lots here, but slightly more oxidative than I would prefer, and more Brut Nature than what thrills me.

Big and full and yeasty. Great champagne in a heavier style.
