Outdoor Mexican dinner with pork cochinita: Drinking quite well now, with notes of apple, pear, petrol and minerals ... and very good acidity. We had this at the end of our meal of slow-roasted, pork cochinita in banana skins (Spatlese was a recommended wine) but I preferred the wine on its own, at the end of the meal. (The Alsace Gewurztraminer was a better pairing with the food). And the 7% alcohol was a perfect ending to the meal and evening.
We aged this bottle in our home cellar(s) -- 2 homes -- since February 2006 and I was glad it showed so well. To me this bottle has 5-10 years of life left.
Drink now or age.

Alluring nose of apple, mixed florals, petrol, and crushed stone. Nicely balanced, with still fresh acidity and a perfect fruit/mineral mix on the palate. This should drink well for the better part of the next decade.

Chicago Italian Lovers round 12- 04 Nebbiolo Blind (Domaine Wine Storage, Chicago IL): Nose: The nose is extremely well balanced with a petrol base as well as green apples, pears, quince, and a hint of minerals. There is excellent complexity, but it does lack that next gear of depth.
Taste: Medium bodied with medium+ acidity. The feel is very smooth and refined with green apples, quince, minerals, and pears.
Overall: This is a very tasty Riesling that is really coming into its own. There is a ways to go, but it's drinking great right now.

Too cloying. Still very young, but simply needs more acidity.

Continues to drink beautifully. Went great with Indian cuisine at Kama Bistro.
