Fruity - yes. Jammy - maybe, if the jam is an exotic berry chutney paired with blue cheese on a good piece of sourdough bread. Seriously, this is great wine. Powerful, enticing aroma and an extended finish. Plenty of tannin left, with lots of structure, so like most Tulocay wines, this will be fine for another 10 years. It's more complex than my past experiences with Tulocay. Looking forward to seeing how it will evolve over the long term.

Still going strong. No evidence of any fading. Several years left. Excellent zin.

This wine is hot at 15.8% abv. Acidic. I recommend a 2 hour decant to open this wine up. Started out dull but opened up after 1 hour.
