Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 89 points

  • I bought this some 30 years ago and decided to open it out of interest. The cork was failing and had shrunk to the point that it came out of the bottle rather too easily. However the nose showed no signs of oxidation or taint. The colour was golden brown. On the palate it was marmalade, good acidity, quite unctuous and a remarkably good wine for an ancient bottle.
