  • Very Tasty!
Very deep inky black in color. Nose is simply dry grape skins. Mouthfeel is dry with flavors of black cherry and plum. Tannins are very soft and finish is long. Not real complex but very focused with some nice roundness at the end. First time with this varietal and I will be searching out more of this.

    Go Basques!

  • Blackberry, high and very well integrated acidity, balsamic with very sweet extract. The wine is lovely even though right now the nose lacks depth and seems shorter than I expected. It feels very young and I am shure it will improve with more time in bottle.

  • Clear and bright, deep ruby colour with inky legs. The nose is clean and developing, with medium+ intensity aromas of plums, truffle, vanilla, caramel, ferns and cedar. It's dry in the mouth with a medium acidity, medium+ fine grained tannins, medium+ slightly warm alcohol, medium+ body and medium intensity flavours of plums, caramel, cedar and vanilla. The finish is of medium+ length. It's a very good quality wine with a nice concentration, balance and a lengthy finish, but it lacks elegance and finesse. Drink now, but has enough structure and concentration to develop some complexity in the next 3-5 years.
