Muted nose of menthol with no detectable floral or fruit notes. Very tart on the palette, predominate taste of sour cherries. Tannic finish that left our mouths "puckery". Decent wine, but fairly disjointed. Better with food (lasagna).

Pruney ruby color, light-medium intensity. Earthy notes leather, tar, black tea on the nose. Tannins still very present and, along with the alcohol, lend a brambly character to the mouthfeel. Sour cherry, tobacco and wood duff on the medium-intense palate.

Although not an Italian produced Nebbiolo, still get that tar and roses nose. Decanted for 1 hour. Red berry and cherry, anise, rose petal and tobacco. Balanced acidity and minerality with silky tannins leading to a spicy, firm finish.
