Very heavily perfumed, almost heady. Dried cherries and dried strawberries on the nose. The nose is overpowering and, while lovely to whiff at, struck me as a little unsophisticated. Sipping it brought me sour cherries and fruit. Well balanced on the palate, which is less obvious than the nose which just screams heady fruit, cherries and perfume. Still quite a nice wine, well made and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again at the right price. But I found it for $50 USD, and that seems steep considering you can do better at that price in Burgundy or Oregon though...which is sayin something giving Burgundy prices!

Cherries, a hint of strawberry, forest floor and some Provencal herbs. Rich and intense fruit. Good balance. Nice structure and has a couple years left to enjoy. Score 92+.

Probably rating this bottle higher than last because of how well it paired with some Epoisses Cheese I found to serve a good friend. I wanted a Pinot with some stem inclusion and this one rocked it! Terrific Sta Rita Hills Pinot Noir. I wish that wasn't our last bottle.

Nice nose of black cherry and a little thyme/sage. Sour cherry on the palate. Generous fruits but well balanced. This went very well with lamb sliders with roasted tomatoes.
