$19.19 retail, after discount. Nose reluctant at first, but after some vigorous swirling in the glass, it began to give up deep aromas of plum and faint bacon. In the mouth, there is slightly meaty, dark fruit, with somewhat rigid underlying acid / tannin structure. Overall, a rather typical and uncomplicated young St. Joseph with decent upside potential with short-term cellaring. Nice.

Smells like Serrano ham. Remarkably low 12.5% alcohol considering the year. Uncomplicated and tasty.
