  Not quite there to be purchased again
  
  Even after 5 years in the cellar the balance is off with too much alcohol and too little substance.
  
  Generally a big fan of Langmiel, this is my first try at their entry level wine and my wife and I were disappointed.
  
  Better options at the $20 price point.

  the nose has developed some fabulous smokey notes on the nose, the oak has taken a step back, the ripe fruit is more integrated, this is big still but the nose, the nose...! this will be great given time (91)
