Could use a little more acidity to balance the up front sweetness. A longer finish would have merited a higher rating. Nice with pecan pie and Thanksgiving dinner, but could have been even better.

This one was a bit different and new for me. From what I understand, Graacher Himmelreich is a specific town or vineyard in the Mosel. I didn't connect a low ABV with a higher RS when I bought it, but on retrospect it's obvious. The sweetness was there in this wine without being cloying or overwhelming the pleasant stone fruit, melon fruit, and minerality.

Consumed on a warm evening in Texas, with spicy Indian food. Wine was perfectly chilled. Wonderfully to cut the heat from the Indian food. Not too sweet, flavors were peach and honey
