  Definitely on the downward slope but was still holding on and showing some nice characteristics tonight. Vanilla and oak still present, some residual fruits, lots or tertiary notes of course, the alcohol almost all dissipated. Nice wine.

  drinking beautifully with lots of time remaining. Strong cherry fruit, leather, vanilla, cardamom and earth. Bright metal notes.

  Drank with Indian food, including lamb kheema. Wine spice went very well with spices in the food

  dense and deep with lots of leather notes complementing the still strong fruit.
