D+0h: no deposit in the filter nor in the bottle, smells of raspberry D+14h: purple red colour, on the rim cherry red, smells of blackberry, smoke and eucalyptus, medium body, smooth in the mouth, has a little bit of residual sugar, so not completely dry, in the mouth blackberry and smoke with a little bit of eucalyptus in the background, in the aftertaste leather, smoke and blackberry, good length (30 sec), really great Rioja.

Day 1: Amazing wine for entry level in their portfolio. I consider La Rioja Alta the best in Spain for the money! Spices, minerals, mild funk, wood and floral notes. Concentrated effort and medium plus finish. Outstanding! 92 points Day 2: Showing the classic dill quality along wtih wood, floral, spices, raspberries and minerals. Very nice drinking window right now. Complex wine. 92 points

Solid Rioja. Great bang for the buck almost every vintage it seems.
