  This bottle was showing rather hot (elevated alcohol) and tired, but with nice strawberry fruit and some spice. Not one that I craved going back to though, however. Drink up if you have any I would suggest.

  Interesting aromas of raspberry, tomato, dark chocolate and kirsch. This is pretty much at peak and the tannins are quite smooth. A good partner to duck confit with olives, but overshadowed tonight by an older Lirac, of all things.

  Stunning bouquet of earthy methane, wildflowers, herbs, and red fruit. Luscious raspberry ganache, tobacco, minerals, mint, and red licorice intertwine on the tongue. Silky and well-balanced, with a lingering finish. Drinking well now.

  Decanted for 1 hour and drank 2 glasses over the next 2 hours. Medium ruby color, moderate aroma intensity and shows some age. Luscious dark berries and tobacco. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity and moderate, soft tannins.
