  • A little chewier than the 10 was, but still very classic, with savory cocktail cherry and dirt flavors. Absolutely fantastic, charming, sapid wine, and killer qpr.

  • Power and finesse. Bright cherry, dark plum, roasted meat, tar, orange peal, black tea and subtle oak. Nicely balanced and smooth on the attack, transitions to a mouthful of very fine, very dry tannin, and then a big, spicy alcoholic finish. Yet it remains lively and fresh, not heavy at all. Lots of good material here, give it 2 years to settle down. 14% alcohol.
