  Totally opaque colour; viande, bramble and dark fruit on the nose, but not really opening up at all. A subdued roast lamb?; I suppose this is a characteristic NSG, but the taste is a little too rustic for me. Quite good mouth feel, but very drying on the back palate.
  In all honesty, this is very well made village wine, and I can appreciate the winemaking that has gone into it but the overall effect is rather coarse.
