  Plutôt acide au début, il retrouve sa signature de grand Bourgogne après une heure (sans carafe) et montre de beaux fruits et une très belle finesse par la suite. Accord magnifique avec une côte de veau BBQ. Un peu cher pour ce vin quand même. Mais bon... les Bourgognes sont hors de prix.

  Bu sans doute trop jeune. D'ailleurs, le dernier quart de la bouteille a été dégusté 7 jours plus tard et a dévoilé une complexité sur des notes tertiaires que la première ouverture n'avait pas du tout rendu.

  Good little Burgundy here, with that typical Montille lightness in both appearance and palate with some sappy, slightly metallic elements. Firm and crisp at times, but underneath is a perfumed note that stops the sweetness from dominating. Good stuff, although not sure it will make old bones.

  Spicy stemmy nose, with some oak resin. Lithe palate, a little clenched but otherwise silky with a lovely mouth feel. Tart cranberry flavors, with some iron ore type mineral elements. Not a prototypical 2012, much leaner and silky.
