  • Reddish orange in appearance with a watery rim. The nose is very herbaceous, with notes of tobacco, dandelion leaves, dried grass and spicy fruits. The palate is very old world in character, medium-full bodied and brimming with a unique sense of character and personality. Impressions of rich savoury fruits can be discerned underlying a cornacopia of flavors including fresh tobacco leaves, bitter herbs, dried grass, smoke, gravelly minerals, cola, black pepper with a lingering yet satisfying notes of dried red and blue fruits which eventually gave way to an impression of dark, bittersweet chocolate finish. A very memorable young South African merlot that is full of power, charm and personality.
