  • Served chilled in a NYC Dumpling house. More refreshing than I remembered, I was surprised that it had plenty of fruit left. It went very well with the food.

  • This was my second out of 5 bottles that I purchased in Jan of 2015. Looking at my notes from the first bottle, my thoughts on this wine are unchanged. Nice to know it was consistent.

  • Had this @ the new location of Nancy Lee's Pig Heaven in NYC. It went very well with the Spare Ribs, as it held up very well to the sauce they were using. It was a poor match for the spicy green beans. The Gamay part of this wine is very evident, although I am guessing that the Gamay doesn't go through carbonic maceration, and instead is produced in a more traditional burgundy manner. My best way to describe it, a bit sweet, medium bodied and a medium amount of acid. I bought 6 bottles and I plan on drinking 5 of them within a year and saving one for a few years to see how it ages. But I am guessing its not an age worthy wine.
