  • Very nice Sauvignon Blanc. Golden color like an aged Chardonnay but still fresh in the fruit. It probably has seen it's peak a year ago but still a very nice glass.

  • Bri’s: This was really lost in the strong flavors of the meal; darker gold color; soft subtle minerals, some cantelope, just hint tea-honey? Rich mth, low a’s w/food at entry made it drown--but grt a’s in back. Mis-matched. Had powerful spicy chicken 1st, w/ hi energy, hi alc., hi flavor gewurz; then had shrimp w/some light cream, but the tequilla really bumped it up a notch. Not spicy, but a real kick. The very soft, lower alc., subtler flavors got completely burried. Hard to even smell. Fell flat in the mth. Age made it softer, lower abrupt a’s, subtler, more refined, less frty. Should have had a bright young New Zealand SB. Here the differences in terroir are hugely apparent.

  • Winery: Brilliant gold color; the 2006, but spicey w/orange clove notes; touch honey, very complex; long fin...just keeps getting better here. Wow.
