3 Tasmanian Wineries; 1/14/2022-1/23/2022 (Tasmania): {diam, A$40} 40% pinot, 60% chard. Clean nose. Mild grapefruit. Little yeast, but a hint of earth in the aromas. Palate seems more pinot-tinged than 40%, with some vague strawberry apparent. It’s dry, light/medium in weight, with medium/high acidity, medium-sized bubbles and a medium length finish. Zestily refreshing but maybe a bit anonymous though.

Green apple and lemon. Light nose
A little thin and harsh, unbalanced, but good intensity.

Tasted at vineyard December 2016. Complex, with ripe stone fruit, green apples, richness and maturity. $30.

7 Tasmania Wineries Jan-14; 1/9/2014-1/14/2014: {A$30} Gentle nose of white fruits. Musk-like flavours. Chardonnay characters (despite being a 60/40 pinot-dominant blend). Fairly simple wine; it has medium-creamy bubbles and medium acidity adding up to a light/medium body, but finishes rather short and anonymous. Might taste better at a lower temperature.
