Strong pepper, smoke and black fruit on the nose. Palate still holding onto a good level of fruit and spice giving way to a long finish. Worth hanging onto for a couple more years but drinking really well now.

Not Walla Walla this year vintage because of the frost, the rest comes from Yakima, about 20% new wood. Some stem, well balanced, fresh, with some attack at the end. Freshness is the key here.

Dark. Tar, blck berries on nose. Lot of fruit, fair amount of pepper and tannins there but not pronounced. Peppers linger long after mouthful
