Big wine. Some sediment. High alcohol nose. Needs 2-3 hrs of air. Very complex on palate. Well integrates, long finish and good acid. Typical peppery and dark fruit. Fruit is subtle.
Pnp at restaurant. A bit harsh in the beginning but improved alot with some time. An hour decant would greatly benefit this wine. Big zin needs some food with a kick.

Great nose, I'm getting blueberry, raspberry, cranberry. Fruit on the palate is similar, very clean, juicy, brown sugar and some light pepper. Well integrated oak and it seems like this was in a prime drinking window. I remember Mr. Talty saying he thought his wines peaked around 7 years, and I think I would agree. This reminds me of the Frank Family Zin.

Very enjoyable. This wine was very well balanced with front end fruit and back end spice typical of a nice zin.
Based on the prior tasting note, I thought that I had better hurry and drink my stash of this wine. Not so unless you enjoy a fruit bomb.
