Another bottle, similar note. On first opening the light, elegant side of the wine was most apparent. 24 hours later, a bit more tannin, and more depth of flavour. Not a great Barolo, but a good way to start getting your bearings.

A good introductory Barolo at a very good price (good for Barolo, I mean: about £17.) Light to medium red, assertive nose of leather and spice. On the palate, elegant and complex, very fine tannins. Long, drying finish. 14%.
