Dark - almost garnet. Long legs. Closed-not much for the nose, but interesting in the mouth. Mostly berry, nice tannin - probably ideal age through 2016. Would have guessed it to be a European blend, not U.S. Bottle say mostly Cab blended with Petit Verdot.

Medium body, strong tannins, medium finish, not very smooth. Somewhat "thin". Not a sipping wine. Ok with food. Bought several bottles. Will be taking them to share with friends to make room in my wine cellar for better wine. ;-)

PnP. Overripe cherry nose with just a hint green pepper. First sip is a white hot jammy mess. This needs to breathe. Feels a little hotter than it probably is. Currant and berries with some plum and little pepper. Medium mouth and mild, almost whispy tannins that do linger subtly. Should be good for another two years but don't push it.

A Bordeaux blend, primarily Cab and Petit Verdot. Dark purple. Dry, slightly floral nose. It get red berries, hint of currants. Medium bodied. More Old World in style; consume with food. Tannins are soft, so drink within 12 months. Rated 90 by Wine Spectator. A respectable wine, but professional ratings are inflated. Aerate.

Purple in color so obviously quite young. Pop and pour. Not much aroma to it, black fruit which opened up with more air. I won't score but if I did, it wouldn't be too far off the avg score. I'll give the other bottle 1.5 to 2 years.
