The Nearly Annual Lyon 10 Year Retro Tasting #24, Wines of Washington (Lyon Again, Eugene, OR): First word in my notes for this blind tasting was, "beautiful". Not a bad start. More obviously tannic than the Palengat before it, this leaned into its creme de cassis, stone, tobacco, cocoa and spice with no apologies! 94+ down to 93 on day 2. Now-2027.

3/27/2022 - jmcmchi Likes this wine:
Open 7 hours, 3 hour decant
The additional air softened the rough edges some people have mentioned
With lamb and flageolets. Opening bramble continuing to sweet woody and blueberry notes
Tannins integrating well

PHMG WAG: Two Shots and a Vertical Tasting (Lyon Quarantine Site): This bottle was excellent! Pretty much the same score and note as 6 years ago:
Layers of black fruit, pencil, mocha, and stone with some serious grip.
Ok, it's relaxing its grip at this age! Now-2027
