  Glass: Zalto Bordeaux
  Top wine from Cal Pla, Cuvée of Carignan and Garnacha. Clear, deep ruby color. Clean, medium+ intense, developing nose. Lots of dark cherries, cassis, herbs and, of course, slate. Very thick and dense.
  Dry, medium+ acidity that balances the 14,5% abv really well. Medium+ mellow tannin with lots of grip. Full bodied. Orgy of cassis, red fruit, cherry, slate, fine oak, salt and spices. Good balance, very complex, round, dense and deep. Long with lots of cassis. Potential for at least another decade. 92-93

  Pitch black with garnet rim. Voluptuous nose of black cherries, fig, clay dust, coffee, black pepper. Palate is concentrated with flavors: juicy bing cherry, fig, dried apricot, black pepper and clay. Vibrant, juicy fruits bursting with acidity. Phenomenal, liquid joy.

  Eðalklúbbur, vínsmakk #1 vor 2020 (Hlíðarás 10): Frekar dökkur en greinilega þroskaður litur. Talsverð eik í nefi. Lofnarblóm, sápa (Lux) og sveskja. Einhver nefndi sprittlykt og oxunartóna. Þegar var smakkað á víninu mátti greina m.a. kirsuber, jarðar ber. Líka eftir smá tíma í glasi kaffi og jafnvel lakkrískeim. Mikill ferskleiki. Frábært jafnvægi. Virkilega flott vín sem kostar þó um 60€.
