Gorgeous ping raspberry remarkable color. Picked-up a surprising amount of wood from all those years in a glass bottle! Outstanding but a bit too old, borderline raisney. There's a hint of nice fruit left and a nice buzz regardless.

excellent bottle. held up well. very deep, dark with nice smooth balance, although a little hot at first. after 45 minutes was drinking really well. wish I had another bottle. would like to taste again in 1 year to see if it gets softer.

Strong dark fruit flavors, especially blackberry and dark cherry, but not a lot of complexity or tannic backbone. Drinkable, but likely past it's prime.

Not as good as the last bottle. This seemed a bit more hot on the nose then the previous one. Still got a lot of dark fruits on the nose, but the taste leaned a little more towards overripe. Got some prune (which I hate) on the palate along with blackberries leading to a bit of a hot finish.

This bottle reminds me why I started enjoying Biale's in the first place. The recent ones I've had have been over the top, but not this.
Still a very youthful dark color all the way to the rim. Gorgeous nose of all kinds of fruit. Blackberry, blueberries, licorice and chocolate. Medium-Full bodied wine with a wonderful 'lush' moutfeel to it. Getting a lot of the blackberry and licorice on the palate. Finish was very well balanced with some chocolate starting to come through now. This will hold a couple more years, but was absolutely delicious tonight.
