Typical citrus (grapefruit), grassy/herbal notes are prominent. Also some orange blossom, melon, wet stoney minerality. High acidity, medium body and alcohol. A little spritzy (as other TN notes) from high CO2. An easy drinker. Hats off to Uruguay!

Consistent with previous note. Potent bouquet, featuring a great mix of the finest Bordeaux and New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs. Grassy, musty (cat urine), grapefruit, passion fruit, and minerality. Tremendous concentration and lift, great power. Long, lively finish.

A stunning Sauvignon Blanc. Other tasters compared it to NZ SB, but it showed more of a passion fruit element than grapefruit, although grapefruit notes were pleasant. This is a lively, rich, creamy, and delightfully textured wine; it showed some Chenin Blanc like grittiness. Other than passion fruit and grapefruit, the wine featured stone fruit, lemongrass, herbaceousness, lightly brined olives, and unique terroir elements. Balanced. Very long tangy finish. My WOTN. 91-92.

Slight spritz in the glass, with a pale straw color. Aromas of grapefruit, spiced tea and green olives, as strange as that may sound. Tangy and fresh on the palate. The white peach and orange peel blends with jalapeno, white pepper and lemongrass flavors. Crisp, herbal, but more body than your average New Zealand Sauv Blanc. Very food friendly.
