Subdued nose of little mineral and vague fruit. Medium bodied, bone dry, quite tight, refreshing tangy saltiness with subtle citrus and discreet minerality. Reminding almost of a manzanilla sherry. Clean and elegant. I love the pure style of Santorini wines.

Intriguing aromas on the nose: a mix of sea buckthorn, lime, peach, unripe strawberries and lime blossoms. Dry, medium bodied and zesty palate with some astringency, alkaline action and sugary sweet highlights to the otherwise rather refreshing fruit profile. Good length. A bit funny in an unbalanced way. But fair value and enjoyable after a bit of hair scratching.

Oinoroma Wine Fair 2014; 3/9/2014-3/10/2014: Clear, med lemon color. The nose is clean, medium intensity, light citrus aromas, pineapple, a thin green layer underneath, youthful. The wine is dry, med body and intensity, med alcohol and med+ acidity, ripe peach and apricot, pear and green apple, balanced, med finish. Very good quality, med/high price, to drink now or hold.

Dry, somewhat pungent, bordering on intense. Perhaps not as good as some other Assyritikos, but very decent. Recommended.
