Tasting this after giving this wine a dislike and lower rating a year ago, this 6 year old wine has significantly improved with additional bottle age. Ruby colored, roundly textured, brightly acidic, and firmly tannic. The swallow generates a big spike of drying and near grippy structure. Red cherry is the primary fruit. Overall, a good resemblance to a decent Red Burgundy.

Note: I use a rating sale on which 85 represents a very good wine.
Solid NW US Pinot. Traditional NW0US Pinot palate -- not unlike some New Zealand Pinots. Improved meaningfully through the bottle. If I were to drink another, I would decant it.

This is a very good $20 Pinot that is true to type. Feminine style. Sappy, earthy, mineral, and savory, with rhubarb and other sour red fruits. Well balanced and read to drink.

Drinkable but not a wine I would buy again. Lacks concentration and richness. Lighter color, medium body, astringent in the mouth, mainly features acidity and drying tannin, and is neither delicious nor savory. More like a simple French village level Pinot Noir that is best drunk with food.
