@Mission Bowling Club Pale straw in the glass. Low-intensity nose with slight grapefruit pith (thiol) character, but otherwise very little distinguishing aromas. Medium minus body, medium alcohol (11%?—actually 13.7%) just barely medium acid. Slight phenolic bitterness. Very generic all around. Indistinguishable from a Northern Italy pinot grigio. A poor example of Albarino, given the non-aromatic character, but this would be a fine pinot grigio.
Upon looking at the tech sheet, alcohol is 13.7%. It looks like my assessment of acid and alcohol was off. Maybe because it was served ice-cold. Actually the acid might be a bit more solidly medium, and the alcohol elevated.

Great value as usual. Could use a bit of complexity and some more acid, but otherwise well balanced and a pleasure from start to finish. Drink now with light summer dishes with a hint of spice.

These Hendry whites have just disappeared. This and the Pinot Grigio are good, minerally wines. The Albarino has just a little richness. First rate effort with a grape that is just getting a foothold in California, and done at a reasonable price.

Very nice expression of Albarino. Great with seafood.
