Translucent yellow, brightly acidic, mouth watering, with citrus fruit. Overall, a tasty version of the Albarino grape that is a specialty along the Atlantic Ocean in Portugal and Spain. But not competitive in quality with the European versions. Is more mouth cleansing than coating, and is not rich, complex, or caressingly textured.

Virtually identical notes as my bottle a year ago, it's just lost a touch of the freshness that bottle had. Overall still going strong for a three year old bottle, but drink now.

Excellent crisp wine. A mineral nose of lemon and apples, a taste of green apples and tart tropical fruit with a tiny touch of honey and a satisfying crisp, refreshing finish. Great as an aperitif of with a light summer meal (George Hendry recommended a simple recipe of pasta tossed with olive oil and garlic, with topped grated goat cheese - freeze the goat cheese to allow the grating).

Popped and poured, consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Light expressiveness, initially green apple dominated, later lemon and stone fruit appeared with a good swirl. Palate: Medium bodied, big green apple up front and that's pretty much the rest of the story here - green apple from front to back, including the acidic green apple kick in the back-end. Simple, but not unappealing effort.
