Ripe fruits and some earth in the bouquet. On the palate the same impressions, sweet spices, good and juicy acidity and tannin. Full bodied and in its young maturity stage.

The wine is clear, with deep purple color, slightly more ruby towards the rims, and thick legs.
On the nose the wine is clean, with medium primary aroma intensity of red fruits, cherries, floral notes, purple flower blossom, and with medium secondary aroma intensity of oak spices, clove, and something that reminds of nail polish (but not from oxidation).
On the palate the wine is dry, with medium plus acidity, medium plus green tannins, medium plus alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus primary flavor intensity of ripe red fruits, plums, cherries, cassis, herbaceous notes, and spices. Finish is medium plus.
The wine is of a good quality overall, as it is showing good balance between fruit concentration, acidity and minerality towards end palate. It is lacking depth and complexity at this stage I believe.
The wine was slightly closed at time of tasting, although that overall I think it is showing its style and what it can be with couple more years of bottle aging.

I brought this wine to a wine club function and was pretty disappointed. While not corked it tasted pretty strange and was placed last amongst our flight of wines. My mates all agreed it was definitely not corked or damaged. I have one more of these and will wait 10 years before trying it again.

This was garnet colored, but medium bodied with black berry fruits with notes of spices and hints of tea, leather, tobacco leaf and mineral on the moderate finish.
