Deep purple color Nose: Dried red fruits, figs. Taste: Sweetness comes forth, a slightly tannic / dry finish which is a contrast to the start. A real pleasure this would be a wine for slow cooked ribs, or tajina!

Formula One 2014 (F1 Paddock Club): Appearance is clear, deep intensity, garnet-ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of green herbs, blackberries, red cherries. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol, high tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of green herbs, blackberries, and red cherries. Medium+ finish. Not sure why, but I seem to sense some flavour dilution here. Doesn't have the full-on concentration from a usual Amarone, especially for one so young. If I tasted this blind I would have said this was a Valpolicella instead of Amarone. Approachable now. Acceptable quality. I think this is not for extended ageing.
