  Colour - dark red
  Aroma - black fruits, black boy peach, spice, mocha - perhaps a little baked
  Palate - red and black fruits and some gravel, good mid palate sweetness with pronounced dry and cloying tannins which are kept in check by a nice clean lifting finish giving the impression of focus rather than fatness to the wine. It is impressive for its level and typifies what I like about the 03s'. BTW these notes are based on day two - day one the wine was closed.
