Yellow with tinges of gold and green. Medium legs. Aromas that dominate are fruit: lemon, lime, subtle grapefruit & pineapple. There are hints of light toast, honey and hay. On the palate, acidity comes first, with confirmation of the lemon and lime. Maybe a hint of artichoke and baking spices. Light/medium body, linear texture, medium acidity. Defined, medium finish. Impression: varietally correct, average complexity. A pleasant effort. At $21, QPR is below average. Good now, could defer to 2020.

If you like big buttery Chardonnays, then this deserves a higher score. Butter and brown spice throughout, acid lacking in the background. Could pair with few cheeses, but otherwise not a friendly food wine. Navarro is so good with noble grapes from Alsace- I recommend staying with those wines.

Better than my last bottle. Moderate aromatics, balanced flavor profile, clean, and straight forward. Good wine but nothing special.

Nice lemon minerality; sour apple and pear--wonderful. Light and Dry. Paired it with tandoori chicken and couscous.

Clean, balanced, good fruit and oak, but a little below the best of the past vintages of Navarro's Premiere Reserve.
