  • From a jeroboam. A fascinating deep dive into the aging ability of top -quality gamay from the Gang of Four. Since this is reputedly the best of all of them, I must say that it was a pleasure to taste the evolution into a more Burgundian but at the same time less fruit – appealing wine. A pleasing mid-red Crimson color, no browning, and a distinct smoky, earthy but faint cherry predominant note.

  • Medim garnet. Unmistakable aroma of comte cheese. Other aromas include damp leaves, cherry confit and hard spices. Surprsingly fruity and alive in the mouth with spicy fruit confit flavors and solid acidity. Soft and glossy finish. Not the greatest drinking experience but certainly one of the most interesting. Grew fresher and longer with air.
