pop 'n pour. at first really lovely peppercorn and dark berried nose, smooth and vibrant on the palate. but sadly after few hours it started to go downhill and it got pretty nasty by the end.

A slight amount of mineral on the finish. Briny olives on the open, good acidity to match against a smoked sausage and mashed potatoes. Fair amount of tannin remains, dark, ripe fruit. Great finish! Doesn’t need a long decant, tastes best closer to cellar temp than room temp.

Don't think this was made for aging so long or when one of the low intervention wines goes wrong.

Nice effort here...you get a sense of place and clearly northern rhone. A hint of stems and tarter/leaner fruit. Even better on the second day.
