  Light ruby color, clear edges. Nose reticent at first, opening after 20 minutes, takes some coaxing but worth the wait... showing red candy and red fruits, pastille. Palate earthy at first, evolving to a marinated strawberry, bright cherry, rhubarb pie, iron(maybe ?) earth notes. Ripe and expressive through the mid palate. Elegant and light texture.   Unfortunately, my only bottle of this vintage...may have to look for some more. Wine is in a really great spot right now, nicely aged, balanced, classic Eola/Oregon fruit. Great QPR
