  • Drinking better these days (or perhaps it is because this is our last bottle). Beautiful, red fruit -- cherry, pomegranate and strawberry -- and a lovely pairing with our slow-roasted, herbal duck.

  • Lovely red fruit and some herbs on the finish. Harmonious with the venison curry. Great showing at 10 years of age. I wish I had more of these. Drink now.

  • Plum, cherry, pomegranate and some strawberry. Savory herbs too.

Not a perfect pairing with the venison curry but evolved to pair.

A limited edition of 125 cases of wine.

    Drink now.

  • At home w Val, bottles purchased direct from vintner after purchasing their WV Auction lots. PnP, drank over 2 hours

Light ruby color, clear edges. Nose reticent at first, opening after 20 minutes, takes some coaxing but worth the wait... showing red candy and red fruits, pastille. Palate earthy at first, evolving to a marinated strawberry, bright cherry, rhubarb pie, iron(maybe ?) earth notes. Ripe and expressive through the mid palate. Elegant and light texture. Medium body and finish

Unfortunately, my only bottle of this vintage...may have to look for some more. Wine is in a really great spot right now, nicely aged, balanced, classic Eola/Oregon fruit. Great QPR
