Devotees of McVitie's may feel the urge to send a cease-and-decease letter to Hobnob "Vineyards" since their famous Hobnob biscuit surely preceded this manufacturer of wine. It's a bit of a stretch to use the term "vineyard" in the name as there is no indication as to the region of origin; certainly not White Plains New York. CellarTracker tells us the PN comes from Pays d'Oc.
I was a bit skeptical as I tried it from the tiny plastic cup at Mariano's but, in all, decent for a $10.99. I've had a lot worse at higher prices. Soft cherry fruit, medium acidity, modest length. It probably exceeds expectations.

Color: Dark, dark plum hues. Nose: kalamata olive and light pepper.. Flavor: A very herbaceous profile. Again, kalamata olive. Not much else going on. A little heat at the end, but mostly smooth finish.

A touch of VA appreciable on the palate not the nose (banana-ish).

Agree with Kopanski's comments.
Soft, lacking bite but that is to be expected from southern vineyards. Competently made, definitely showing influence of modern techniques
good value
