Diam cork, no sign of seepage High ullage, decanted and tasted over 24h. No significant sediment. V: deep purple, opaque Aromas of vanilla and some char P: didn’t really evolve, there was a distinct flavour profile of bitter and overripe fruit in this wine.
Definitely not my style. I unecessarily slogged through a bottle in 2 nights but should have used it for cooking. Blend of sangiovese, montepulciano, negroamaro, nero d’avola and another varietal. Drink, hold to 2027 or avoid altogether if possible.

While strictly speaking this wine does not bear a vintage but rather the sequential production number, this bottle should be ca 10 years old. The wine still gives great joy (see my other notes). However I am not really sure it has evolved, in fact it anything it might have start approaching the end of the drinking window. Enjoy now!

This bottle was very good. The plummy richness is well balanced by the chalky "dustiness" and the abundant tannins. One bottle to go, will consume by next year. But if you have more you could keep some longer, I suppose, though I wouldn't expect any new insights from that.

Like last time where I was pointing back to my TN of January 11th, 2019. But not as impressive this time. Two bottles to go, my window closing after 2022.

Good last bottle, just like my TN dated December 2021.
