  Honey and peaches. Delicious. Beautiful color. Quite sweet but not cloying. Fresh acidity

  Well balanced auslese but not exceptional. Acidity was a bit lacking, especially compared to some of the other 2001's I've had recently.

  Perfumed nose of honeyed peaches. Wonderful flavors of stone fruit supported by a lively acidic backbone. A well-integrated, balanced wine that was a true pleasure to experience. Drank it over 5 hours, and the wine showed consistently well. Delicious!

  This Auslese has it all. Great balance of Acidity, Minerality, and Sweetness. Very enjoyable. Tropical fruits, honey, peach.

  Monthly Tasting Group: A Bevy Rieslings and Thai Food (Sen Yai Sen Lek, Mpls): Medium gold color. Drank 1 glass over 30 minutes. Same bottle as Bellissimo. I thought this bottle was spot on. Just in a great place, complex, great texture, balanced, lively, nice mix of peach, apple, and some more exotic fruits with modest petrol, and crystalline minerality. Loved it. 93+pts.
