Intense ruby color with light bricking. Intense aromatic of cherry, tobaco, licorice. Big fruit, smooth tanins, balanced, long aftertaste. Very lovely brunello. Drinking very good now, with ageing potential.

Early drinking window very good with upside, “bigger” side of medium full bodied fruit with tannins taming down after 10 years and excellent acidity. Starting to get some tertiary flavors. Based on where the fruit and tannins are in a wine with this nice balanced acidity, I think with at least a 2 hr decant now it is wonderfully enjoyable—or any time over the next decade this will likely get a little better

Initially big oaky nose. Oak subsides and the wine slowly reveals classic Brunello scents: tobacco, licorice, dried fig. Good finish. No other detailed notes.

Still tight. Need more cellaring. Few hours of decanting is showing balanced wine with acidity, fruit and tanins in par.
